ΑΦΙΕΡΩΜΕΝΟ ΣΤΟ ΛΑΚΗ ΠΑΠΑΣΤΑΘΗ ΤΟ 11ο AEGEANDOCS (17 – 22 Οκτωβρίου 2023)
Με αφιέρωμα στο έργο του Λάκη Παπαστάθη, το 11ο AegeanDocs συναντά τους φίλους του ντοκιμαντέρ στα νησιά του Βορείου Αιγαίου από τις 17 έως τις 22 Οκτωβρίου.
Σε συνεργασία με τη Διεύθυνση Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης στο Βόρειο Αιγαίο προγραμματίζονται ειδικές προβολές-εκδηλώσεις για σχολεία.
Συγκεκριμένα δημιουργίες του Λάκη Παπαστάθη, από τις εμβληματικές εκπομπές της ΕΡΤ: ΠΑΡΑΣΚΗΝΙΟ, Αναζητώντας τη Χαμένη Εικόνα και Υστερόγραφο, παρουσιάζονται σε μαθητές Γυμνασίων και Λυκείων σε εκπαιδευτικές προβολές σεμιναριακής μορφής.
Τα πολιτιστικά ντοκιμαντέρ του Παπαστάθη που θα προβληθούν είναι:
Αλίκη Βουγιουκλάκη,
Μανόλης Αναγνωστάκης,
Θεόφιλος ξανά;,
Η Μαγική Πόλη του Κούνδουρου,
Μικρές Ιστορίες στην Πανεπιστημίου και
η Ομόνοια.
Ο Λάκης Παπαστάθης γεννήθηκε στο Βόλο το 1943. Σπούδασε στο Κέντρο Σπουδών Κινηματογράφου (1963). Το 1972 πρωτοσκηνοθετεί τη μικρού μήκους ταινία Γράμματα από την Αμερική, η οποία βραβεύεται στο Φεστιβάλ Θεσσαλονίκης. Την περίοδο 1968-1971 εργάστηκε ως βοηθός σκηνοθέτη, κυρίως στην Ευδοκία του Αλέξη Δαμιανού. Τρία χρόνια αργότερα περνά στην τηλεόραση, όπου ως σκηνοθέτης-παραγωγός, δημιουργεί με τον Τάκη Χατζόπουλο τις σειρές Παρασκήνιο και Ιστορικό Αρχείο.
Σκηνοθέτησε τις μεγάλου μήκους ταινίες: Τον καιρό των Ελλήνων (1981), Θεόφιλος (
Τελευταίος τηλεοπτικός σταθμός για το Λάκη Παπαστάθη ήταν η εκπομπή "Υστερόγραφο".
Καλεσμένοι 11oυ AegeanDocs 17-22 Οκτωβρίου στην Μυτιλήνη και Ικαρία
Σκηνοθέτες, παραγωγοί, στελέχη κινηματογραφικών και τηλεοπτικών οργανισμών, κριτικοί κινηματογράφου, πανεπιστημιακοί και εκπαιδευτικοί από την Ευρώπη, την Ελλάδα και την Μέση Ανατολή είναι οι προσκεκλημένοι του AegeanDocs 2023, στη 11η διοργάνωσή του.
Οι προσκεκλημένοι θα συζητήσουν εκ του σύνεγγυς με το κοινό στη Λέσβο και την Ικαρία και θα συνομιλήσουν με τους θεατές στα άλλα 7 νησιά μέσω διαδικτύου.
The 12th AegeanDocs is postponed.
We are in the unfortunate position to inform you that the "12th AegeanDocs International Multi-Thematic and Film Festival" will not take place this year (2024) due to the significant deviation (over 80%) of the grants in relation to the established budget.
Unfortunately, the voluntary work of all the executives of "History Doc" is not enough to cover the gap.
We apologize to the participating artists, the delegates to the two conference days that we planned, our partners in the 9 islands of the North Aegean and, above all, to the audience of the Festival.
This year we didn't make it. We hope for next year

BEST FOREIGN FILM AWARD
The Best Foreign Film Award goes to “SAVOY” by Zohar Wagner for its complete narration of the incidents that took place in a Tel Aviv hotel during the release operation of hostages held by the PLO Fedayeen, which ended in a bloodshed with a number of victims and for the artistically honest depiction of the main characters and their contradictions. This award is a wish for filmmakers in Israel and Palestine to continue working for the promotion of peace and human dignity.

11th AegeanDocs - The tribute to Lakis Papastathis
With a dedication to the work of Lakis Papastathis, the 11th AegeanDocs meets the friends of the documentary in the islands of the North Aegean from October 17 to 22.
In collaboration with the Directorate of Secondary Education in the North Aegean, special screenings-events are be planned for schools.
Specific creations of Lakis Papastathis, from the emblematic shows of ERT: PARASKINIO, Looking for the Lost Image and Histerographo, will be screened to High Schools students in seminar-style educational screenings.

Lakis Papastathis was born in Volos in 1943. He studied at the Center for Cinema Studies (1963). In 1972, he first directed the short film Letters from America, which won an award at the Thessaloniki Festival. In the period 1968-1971 he worked as an assistant director, mainly in Eudokia by Alexis Damianos. Three years later he moved to television, where as a director-producer, he created with Takis Hatzopoulos the series Behind the Scenes and Historical Archive.
He directed the feature films: Time of the Greeks (1981), Theofilos (1987), The only life of a taxi (2001), Journey to Mytilene (2010).
The last television station for Laki Papastathi was the show "Ysterografo".
